Square adds support for Star Micronics mG-Scale series to add more functionality to their POS solution for retailers

Square continues to offer their customers a sleek, unified look in their point of sale with the latest functionality of an integrated scale for sell-by-weight items.

Star Micronics mG-S8200 is the new large-capacity scale from Star’s mCollection, measuring up to 18 pounds. The scale is NTEP certified, making it legal for trade and offers USB, Bluetooth, or Serial connectivity. The mG-S8200 also offers both wired, or battery-powered options making it perfect for portable use such as farmer’s markets or pop-up shops.
