Introduction:
How to install the Star CloudPRNT plug-in for WooCommerce
Supported Printers: TSP654IICloudPRNT, TSP700IICloudPRNT, TSP80IICloudPRNT, SP700CloudPRNT, mC-Print2, and mC-Print3
Supported Interfaces: HI01X/02X
Supported Environments: Web (OS independent)
Install and activate Star CloudPRNT plugin in WooCommerce.
Go to your WordPress admin control panel and you should notice a new link for “Star CloudPRNT for WooCommerce” in the WordPress “Settings” category.
Once you have opened up the Star CloudPRNT settings page, you will be given a unique Server URL that you need to copy.
Setup your Star printer onto your network and perform a self-test to get the IP Address.
Self-Test: Turn the printer OFF. Hold down the FEED button and turn the printer back ON while holding the button. Let go once the printer starts to print.
Type the printer IP address into a web browser to access its web interface and then log in (default username “root” and password “public”)
Enabling CloudPRNT
Click on “CloudPRNT”
Set CloudPRNT Server to ENABLE
Copy Server URL from WooCommerce page and paste here
Submit
Now click on the “Save” button in the side menu
Click “Save Configuration printing -> Restart device” and then “Execute” to save the settings and reboot the printer
Once the printer has rebooted, go back to your Star CloudPRNT settings page in WooCommerce and refresh it, you will notice your printer will be populated in the printer list which means your printer is now setup and ready to use.
Finally, you can now enable the CloudPRNT service within the Star CloudPRNT settings page in WooCommerce, once enabled all orders through WooCommerce will also be printed out on your Star printer.
