How to Install a Bluetooth mC-Print printer on Windows

This application note explains how to install a Star mC-Print2 or mC-Print3 printer on Windows OS using the Bluetooth interface

Supported Printers: mC-Print2, mC-Print3
Supported Interfaces: Bluetooth
Supported Environments: Windows OS

Installing the Driver

Download the printer driver (StarPRNT for mCollection) from the Global Support Website

Decompress the downloaded folder and execute “setup.exe”

Follow the instructions of the setup wizard to complete the installation

Installing Bluetooth Printer

Turn ON the Bluetooth on your PC, then go to “Add Bluetooth and Other devices” and “Add a printer or Scanner”

Select the printer

When Pairing is completed, the name of the device will display in “Devices and Printer” in the Control Panel. Right click on the printer and select “Properties”.

Go to the Hardware tab and find the COM port number.

Open the Star “Printer utility for mCollection”

Select your printer model and click “Next”

Choose the printers interface “Bluetooth” and select the COM port. Click Done.

Select “Windows Printer Queue” to add the printer.
