You are here:

Supported Interfaces: N/A

Before you begin

Unexpected power loss or paper jams can result in the printer’s guillotine cutter failing to retract fully after completing the cutting cycle. This may hinder the proper opening or closing of the printer’s upper cover.

Typically, a locked cutter can be reset by restarting the printer—simply turn the power switch OFF and back ON. If this action doesn’t resolve the issue, please refer to the following procedure.

Important! Ensure the printer is powered OFF prior to conducting maintenance on the cutter.

Important! Exercise caution when clearing paper jams to avoid causing damage to the printer. Specifically, refrain from touching the thermal head as it is susceptible to damage.
