Select the name of the computer that the printer is physically connected to.

If you know the name of the computer skip to step #8. To find out the name of the computer on windows 10 open control panel and click on “system and security”

Then select “view amount of ram and processor speed”. You will then see the computers name under the section labeled “Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings”

Left click on the printer and then left click on “Select”.

Now the text box should be auto filled with “\\ Computers name\ Printers name” and you will left click on “Next”.

Left click on “Next”.

This icon confirms that the printer has been shared successfully to the new computer.
