How to test Star Printers using StarPRNT SDK
Introduction
How to test your Star printer using an iOS or Android device and the StarPRNT SDK app. This article was written using the TSP143IIIW as an example but applies to all the models listed below.
NOTE: Ensure printer is already connected to device either via USB, Ethernet, LAN or Wi-Fi, and the StarPRNT SDK app installed in the device t be used for this test.

Testing TSP100IIIW on the StarPRNT SDK App
Download and install the “StarPRNT SDK” app from the Apple app store or Google play store
Open the app and click “Unselected State” blinking in RED.
Select your printers’ interface from the list.
Select and confirm your printer from the list.
Select the appropriate paper size (width) for your printer
Select the cash drawer open status as “High when Open”.
The app will navigate you to the home screen. Then, select “Sample”.
Select your preferred language for the test receipt.
Select “En 3” Raster Receipt” from “Like a StarIO-SDK Sample”.
The printer should print a sample receipt and your devise display a “Communication Success” message.
Congratulations! You have now completed a printer communications and printing test using the SarPRNT SDK APP!
