Using a lightning cable with TSP100IIIU on iOS

This application note explains how to use your Star Printer on iOS devices using a lightning cable.

 

Supported Printers: TSP100IIIU

Supported Interfaces: USB

 

Using TSP100IIIUSB with Lightning Cable

First, make sure you have the lightning cable plugged into the back of the printer, as well as your device.

Next, we will access the app store and search for “Star Micronics”

The app you will want to download is “TSP100III Utility”

Once the app is downloaded open it. You will see “Unselected State” flashing, select that.

When the app is searching, the printer will then come up. Select it and then hit “Apply”

Now, it will take you back to the regular screen, go ahead and select “Printer Test”

The printer will then print a test receipt. This means now your TSP100IIIU is set up with the lightning cable.
