Registration

You must login to the Measuring Device Registration Portal.

You will need your Business ID ready or you will need to create an account.

To add a new device you will need the following

• Type of device
• Make (Star Micronics)
• Model
• Serial #
• Capacity
• Status (New or Renewal)

You will then need to e-Sign the form and make a Credit Card Payment for the new or renewed scale. 

Calibration

The new scale should be calibrated by a certified Service Company.

A complete list can be found HERE.

The company will complete calibration and submit an In-Service Report.

Maintenance

You will need to get in contact with a certified Service Company

The company must be registered and certified to meet the State of Alabama’s regulations.

It is recommended to have the scale recalibrated each year by a Service Company.
