Registration
After proper installation and calibration by a licensed service company, the business must complete an Application for Registration.
You will need to select the proper scale type depending on the usage, but the mG-Scales all have a capacity from 0-1,000 lbs.
Maintenance
Proper calibration is needed at all times.
An officer from the Weights & Measures Department will stop in at random to test that the scale is still properly calibrated.
There are fines related to scales failing the inspection.
It is recommended to have your Service Company recalibrate your scale every year.
