It offers four versatile connectivity options—USB, LAN, WLAN, and Bluetooth (X4 models only)—and ensures seamless compatibility with Windows, iOS, Android, and cloud-based applications. Featuring CloudPRNT Next for faster, more reliable cloud printing, dual-band WLAN with easy setup, and Android Open Accessory (AOA) support, the TSP143IV is designed for efficiency and adaptability. The TSP143IV X4 combines USB-C, Ethernet, WLAN, and Bluetooth connectivity in a single receipt printer, reducing the need to manage multiple interface-specific models. Support for Windows, iOS, and Android devices makes it easy to deploy across POS, mobile POS, self-service, and cloud-connected environments. USB-C supports data and power delivery, while Ethernet, WLAN, and Bluetooth provide flexible installation options for a wide range of business applications.
CloudPRNT Next uses MQTT technology to improve communication between cloud applications and receipt printers. Orders and print jobs can be delivered directly from cloud platforms without requiring a local tablet, PC, or middleware device. Real-time status updates and efficient data transfer make CloudPRNT Next well-suited for online ordering, retail, hospitality, and multi-location operations.
The TSP143IV supports Windows, iOS, and Android platforms. Support for Android Open Accessory (AOA) allows Android devices to communicate with the printer while receiving power through a single USB-C connection, reducing cable clutter and simplifying POS deployments.
The TSP143IV X4 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless networks, helping businesses optimize connectivity based on their environment. Star’s Quick Setup Utility and QR-code-based setup tools simplify installation, while wireless connectivity provides flexibility for retail, restaurant, and mobile POS deployments.
Star Micronics Cloud Services provides tools for device management, remote firmware updates, printer monitoring, receipt customization, and digital receipt storage. Developers can also access APIs that support loyalty programs, customer engagement, and cloud-connected POS workflows.
The TSP143IV features a footprint approximately 20% smaller than previous TSP100 models, helping free up valuable counter space. An internal power supply reduces cable clutter and helps prevent accidental disconnections in busy retail and hospitality environments.
The TSP143IV is supported by a wide range of retail, restaurant, hospitality, cannabis, and specialty POS software platforms.
