The TSP143IV X4 combines USB-C, Ethernet, WLAN, and Bluetooth connectivity in a single receipt printer, reducing the need to manage multiple interface-specific models. Support for Windows, iOS, and Android devices makes it easy to deploy across POS, mobile POS, self-service, and cloud-connected environments. USB-C supports data and power delivery, while Ethernet, WLAN, and Bluetooth provide flexible installation options for a wide range of business applications.
CloudPRNT Next uses MQTT technology to improve communication between cloud applications and receipt printers. Orders and print jobs can be delivered directly from cloud platforms without requiring a local tablet, PC, or middleware device. Real-time status updates and efficient data transfer make CloudPRNT Next well-suited for online ordering, retail, hospitality, and multi-location operations.
TSP143IV X4 models feature Star’s Ultra-C USB-C connectivity, supporting both power and data communication with iOS, Android, and Windows devices through a single connection. Android Open Accessory (AOA) support enables compatible Android devices to communicate with the printer while receiving power, helping reduce cable clutter and simplify modern POS deployments.
The TSP143IV X4 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless networks for flexible deployment across retail, restaurant, and mobile POS environments. Star’s rapidSYNC Wi-Fi setup simplifies onboarding with guided setup through the Star Quick Setup Utility or QR-code-based configuration, helping businesses get connected quickly with less setup complexity.
Star Micronics Cloud Services provides tools for device management, remote firmware updates, printer monitoring, receipt customization, and digital receipt storage. Developers can also access APIs that support loyalty programs, customer engagement, and cloud-connected POS workflows.
