When should I adjust print media settings?

Adjust the print media settings when using the printer for the first time or when changing the type of paper or labels loaded in the printer. The media setting must match the type of paper or labels being used.

Adjust the Print Media Settings

1. Open the app and tap Selected Printer.

2. Allow the requested permissions. Select the printer and tap Yes to confirm.

Bluetooth: BD Name
LAN/Wi-Fi: IP Address

3. Select Device Settings, then tap Print Media Settings.

4. Select the appropriate media type then tap Next.

5. If applicable, enable or disable Black Mark Detector, then tap Next.

Note: Select Black Mark only when using black mark paper. Selecting Black Mark with standard paper may cause the printer to malfunction.

6. If applicable, install the paper roll guide and load the new paper. Tap Apply.

7. The settings are saved. Tap OK to exit.
