How to Connect a TSP100IV-UEWB to Wi-Fi
Introduction
This article provides instructions for connecting a TSP100IV-UEWB printer to a Wi-Fi network using an Android or iOS device.
The printer can be connected using the Star Quick Setup Utility or the QR Code Method, which uses the printer’s Web Configuration page. The Star Quick Setup Utility is recommended for most users.

Before You Begin
Before connecting the printer to Wi-Fi:
- Make sure the printer is powered ON and loaded with paper.
- Have your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password (Security Key) available. Both are case sensitive.
- Make sure your Android or iOS device is connected to the Wi-Fi network you want to use with the printer.
- Keep your mobile device near the printer during setup.
- If using the Star Quick Setup Utility, download and install the app before beginning.
- If prompted for permissions while using the Star Quick Setup Utility, allow the requested permissions so the app can detect and configure the printer.
Important! Do not turn off the printer while the Wi-Fi settings are being configured.

Star Quick Setup Utility for iOS

1. Open Star Quick Setup Utility, and tap Start Guide (Initial Settings) then Use Wireless LAN.
Note: Ensure the printer is powered ON and do not power the printer OFF during this process.

2. Select TSP143IV-UEWB from the displayed list.
Note: If the location permission confirmation screen appears, select any of the [Allow] options.

3. Enter the SSID and Security Key of the network to be connected.
Note: If the device detection permission confirmation screen appears, tap [Allow].
SSID: Your Wi-Fi name (case sensitive)
Security Key: Your Wi-Fi password (case sensitive)

4. Bring your device closer to the printer (as directed by the app’s proximity indicator). Do not move the device away from the printer during this process.

5. When the setup is complete, the Wireless Network Diagnosis result is printed automatically. This page provides the details on the printer’s IP Address.
Note: If setting up multiple printers, tap [Continue setting of Other Printers] and configure the settings continuously.

6. When the printer is successfully connected to the network, the word “Successful” is printed, and the printer’s updated IP address is displayed.

QR Code Setup Method
1. Power the printer ON. After approx. 20 seconds, two QR codes for wireless communication settings are printed. Scan the first *** WLAN Setup *** QR code using a camera app or QR code reader and tap the displayed SSID.
The Network LED (green) on the printer lights up.

2. The Web Configuration setting screen appears. Login with the following credentials:
Username: root
Password: public

3. Enter the SSID of the network to be connected or tap Scan and select the SSID from the displayed list.
SSID: Your Wi-Fi name (case sensitive)

4. Enter the Security Key
of the network to be connected, and tap Submit
. Confirm the setting details are correct and tap Save
.
Security Key: Your Wi-Fi password (case sensitive)

5. When the printer is successfully connected to the network, the word “Successful” is printed, and the printer’s updated IP address is printed.
